IYC, Bayelsa State Chapter Of Niger Delta Self-Determination Movement Endorses Comrade Sammy George For President 2020

Yenagoa_____ As the 2020 Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) election is fast approaching, the Bayelsa State Chapter of Niger Delta Self-Determination Movement has also thrown their weight behind Comrade Sammy George to vie for the office of President IYC comes next year.
The group in a statement signed by its Chairman, Comrade Tony Oki stressed that, Comrade Sammy George is a material who has demonstrated his undying love for ljaw nation, thereby using his office as IYC Chairman Eastern Zone, in connection with ljaw Women of America (IWA) to influenced a laudable Solar Panneled Water Project to Opuama Kingdom, in Southern ljaw LGA, Bayelsa State.
It will be recalled that, this is making the second group to call on Comrade Sammy George to contest for lYC President after the Ijaw Youth Political Alliance has recently declared their unalloyed support for his candidature.
In his words, Comr.Oki said; " Sammy George in his love for Ijaw nation, was instrumental in using his good office to attract and encouraged the Ijaw women of America (IWA) to site a Solar Panneled Water Project in my Kingdom (Opuama). For this singular act, we are extremely grateful and ready to support him if he eventually listen to our call to contest."
" For all you have done and as a stand well Comrade General for empowering Ijaw youths and been a very dogged representative of the Ijaw people of Eastern Zone, I on behalf of the Niger Delta Self Determination Movement Bayelsa State Chapter, and the good people of Opuama kingdom in Bayelsa State, I hereby called on Comrade Sammy George and endorsed him for the position of IYC president comes 2020.
