Yenagoa___ The David Lyon Volunteers Coordinator of Ward 4 Olugbobiri, in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Comrade Yesman Tonbrapa Ebikiye has congratulated the governor elect of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Chief David Lyon on his recent victory at the polls during the 16th November, 2019 Bayelsa Governorship election.

This was contained in a Press Statement made available to newsmen at Olugbobiri today 18th November, 2019 and signed by Comr. Ebikiye Tonbrapa, said the victory of David Lyon during last Saturday polls is the consensus wish of Bayelsa people, stressing that Bayelsans will experience massive infrastructural development, as well as human capital empowerment in the coming APC led new administration.

According to him, said; " God has answered the cry of Bayelsans over bad leadership in the past 8 years. We had been in a captivity under king Pharho of Bayelsa State. But we thank God today, God has send the peoples mandate, Chief David Lyon to light up the Jerusalem of Ijaw Nation.

I want to say a very big congratulations to our Principal for making Olugbobiri and Southern ljaw people proud. I also appreciate the good people of Southern ljaw for standing by their son. The results of Southern ljaw is a testament that we massively support and voted for our own.

Bayelsans will never regret it for given David Lyon a chance to serve them. I pray God to give our incoming governor the wisdom, strength and power to serve the good people of Ijaw Nation. I also use this medium to charge Bayelsans to support our amiable governor elect, because it is our support that will spur him to deliver the dividends of Democracy to all Bayelsans, Comrade Yesman stated."
