Warri_____ The Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State has kicked off campaign today at the local government headquarters, Burutu lsland ahead of march 6th, 2021 LGA polls across the state, as Angele vows to focused on human capital infrastructural development as well as to consolidate on his legacy projects during his first term in office.
Speaking at the ceremony, the chairmanship candidate of the party Burutu LGA, Rt Hon. Godknows Angele thanked the Peoples Democratic Party Burutu for the trust bestowed on him for given him the opportunity to fly the flag of the party for second term, promised to consolidate on the legacy projects he executed during the first term in office. He reiterated that when elected comes March 6th for second term, human capital development (stomach infrastructure), provision of adequate health care facilities as well as workers welfare shall be his top priority. He assure the good people of Burutu not to disappoint them, stressing that he will work with all community chairmen across the LGA to ensure adequate security of lives and properties of Burutu people, the statement adds.
In his remark, the Chairman PDP Burutu LGA, Hon. Ebike Oromoni officially presented the party flag to all the councillorship candidates of the party, charging them to deliver and represent the party as well as the electorates effectively when elected comes 6th of March, 2021. He further urged them to go back to their various wards and solicit for vote at the grassroots, stressing that the power to elect them into office relies on the people.
In his speech, the Chairman PDP Campaign Committee Burutu LGA, Barr. Dede Ikpese appreciated party faithfuls for the massive turn out, noting that Burutu LGA belongs to PDP and no other party. He called on the good people of Burutu LGA to come out in their large numbers on the 6th of March, 2021 to vote massively for the umbrella, he stated.
In his reaction, the Chairman PDP Delta South, Chief. Julius Takeme thank Burutu PDP family for the massive turn out, charging them to go back to their wards and tell the good works of PDP over the years to the grassroots ahead of march 6th, local government elections in the state.
However, dignitaries present at the occasion includes; the member representing Burutu North Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Asupa Forteta, his Burutu South counterpart, Hon. Pullah Ekpotuayerin, Chief. Julius Takeme, Chairman PDP Delta South, Hon. Agada Edeinmene, Hon. Combolous lkisah, Vice Chairman candidate PDP, Hon. Paul Kurugbe, Hon. Richard Tuedon, Hon. Koffee Amasuomo, Hon. Jame Nieketein among other leaders of the party too numerous to mentioned.
