Mulade Mourns Death of Chief S.Y. Mamamu, Calls him a glittery diamond that cannot fade

A traditional high Chief in Gbaramatu Kingdom of Warri South West LGA of Delta State, Chief Sheriff Mulade has joined the list of eminent persons mourning the death of Chief S. Y Mamamu, the Torudiwei of Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom who died in the early hours of Friday, September 10, 2021.

While condoling the family over the great loss, Chief Sheriff Mulade, the Ibe-Seremowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, said Chief Mamamu was a glittery diamond that cannot fade judging from his pedigree and tract records.

The Delta State Governorship hopeful 2023, said the outstanding roles of the iconic S. Y. Mamamu in Ijaw nation, especially in Ogbe-Ijoh Warri Kingdom, Warri South West LGA, Delta State and Nigeria in general, are unparalleled.

He said, Chief S. Y Mamamu was a onetime Chairman, Ijaw National Congress (INC) Western Zone; President, Odidi Federated Communities Elders Council; and also National Leader, OML 42 Host Communities, and described his leadership qualities as worthy of emulation. 

Chief Mulade who has added his strong voice to the clarion calls for Deltans to kindly considered and support an Ijaw Governor in 2023, prayed God to guide and protect the Mamamu family, and grant the members the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

Chief S. Y Mamamu was the founder and general overseer of God’s Ministry (C.G.S) Int. Inc, Salvation City, New Ogbe-Ijoh in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State. He will be greatly missed for his fearless, boldness, generosity, warmness and friendliness to all.
