Princewill particularly regretted that while other ethnic groups within the country whether big or small are making serious demands in moving forward, the story of Ijaw nation is not so as they continue to attack themselves in the open, thereby not making the larger society to give Ijaws the needed respect as they continue to take the ethnic group for granted owing its  internal divisions.

In his words: "The Ijaws must not fail to know that our disunity is peoples unity, our underdevelopment makes people and keep them happy, our woes makes people stronger, we must not joke with our unity as a people.

"It is only a united Ijaw nation that can collectively confront our darkest challenges, we have lots of issues to tackle as an oppresed people in this country, we must organize ourselves to demand for what is due us, there should be no room for internal strife.

"If we have a truly united INC, IYC, there is nothing we can't achieve in this country ".

Eric Omare for putting the Ijaw Interest first, stressing that the Ijaw nation is proud of them. He stressed that they must continue to see themselves as brothers beyond IYC presidency.
