Book written in honor of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike begs for Unveiling

Port Harcourt_____ A book written in honour about the political sojourn of the Executive Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, is currently encapsulated in the printing press begging for unveiling/launching for the public consumption.

The book written by Mr. Lawrence Makele, with the Title : " NYESOM EZENWO WIKE And THE BATTLE FOR DEMOCRACY " talks about the life, career and the political adventure of Governor Wike over the past five decades. 

The author, who hailed from the Governor's own local government area Obiokpor, said Governor Wike's unprecedented political antecedents inspired him to embarked on the intellectual project. 

Lawrence reiterated that he was inspired to work on the project having seen the brilliant performances of Governor Wike during  the days as Chairman Obiokpor Local Government Council, Chief of Staff Rivers State Government as well as Minister for State/Supervising Minister of Education.

According to him, said the intellectual project was given birth to appreciate Governor Wike's good works and contribution in the Nigerian education sector in one hand, and the rapid transformation of Rivers State in terms of infrastructural development as well as human capital development.

" Having finished the intellectual raw work (Manuscript), he presented it to the Governor for perusal. Then His Excellency, in response through a written letter approved the book for printing on the 18th of November, 2015. 

" Since then, l have tried every possible means to seek His Excellency's attention to fix date for proper launching/unveiling of the book remains abortive.

" Therefore, I have no other option than to use this medium appealed to His Excellency, Governor Nyesom Wike to approve a date that will be convenience for him to attend the official launching of the book in his honour for the interest of public consumption," Lawrence stated.
