Diebiri Kingdom Congratulate Atuwatse lll, lwere nation on successful coronation

The good people of Diebiri Kingdom in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, through the Traditional Council of Chiefs, has heartily felicitated with her Itsekiri brothers to joyfully congratulate the new Olu,  Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko, the 21st Olu of Warri Kingdom, on the occasion for his successful ascension to the reverend Itsekiri royal throne. 

In a congratulatory message released on Monday in Warri, signed by Alaowei Moses Douglas, the Puwei of Diebiri, on behalf of the entire Diebiri Kingdom, described the successful coronation of the highly revered monarch as an "Act of God" and prayed that his reign would be peaceful and beneficial to the Kingdom and humanity.

The Puwei of Diebiri Kingdom, said the ascension of the 21st Olu of Warri ushered in a new era of the Itsekiri  nation and urged the new monarch to chart a new beginning of harmonious and peaceful coexistence among his people and other ethnic groups in the state.

He also called on the entire people of lwere nation to give maximum support to the king so as to enable him to lead the Kingdom to greater height.

According to the Puowei, said: " The Itsekiri nation no doubt is one of the Kingdoms with rich traditional heritage which was colourfully displayed during the coronation on the 21st August, 2021, at Ode ltsekiri, the traditional headquarters of the Kingdom.

" As the custodian of culture and tradition of lwere people, l urge you, Your Majesty, to work towards the promotion of harmony in the Kingdom and its neighbours and to attract more investment to the domain "', Douglas stated.

However, he prayed God to give Ogiame Atuwatse III divine wisdom and knowledge to lead the  Itsekiri nation with love and unity, the statement added.
