Okosu Condems Attack on Ogbe-ljoh Youth President, As Paul Denies Allegation

Warri_______ As photos of brutalized Youth President of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom litters the social media space, especially Facebook, a former lYC Chairman and the current Youth President of Eweregbene Federated Community of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom, in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta state, Amb. Okosu Smart, has bitterly condemned entirety the bastardly act meted against Comr. James Etimadimene and Godspower Williki, President and PRO Ogbe-ljoh Youth body by younger brothers and mobile police security guards attached to the honourable Commissioner representing ljaw ethnic nationality in the board of DESOPADEC, Dr. Paul Bebenimibo.

In a Press Statement released on Thursday October 14, and signed by himself, Amb. Okosu described the action of the honourable Commissioner as disheartening and barbaric by publicly molesting, humiliating and dehumanizing the number one youth and the Public Relations Officer of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom at his office on Tuesday October 12, in Warri.

Okosu noted that Mr. Paul Bebenimibo is a disgrace and demeaning to ljaw Nation, and

urged him to render unreserved public apology to the entire youths of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom through National Dailies or ready to face legal action against him.

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction via text message and telephone call, the honourable Commissioner Dr. Bebenimibo has denied the allegations leveled against him by the youth President of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom.

He stressed that the said youths bounce into his office without official invitation to kill him. 

According to Bebenimibo, said:" They came to my office to kill me. So I asked my police guards to arrest them and take them to Ekpan police station, where they begged not to repeat it again. Try and get all sides of the story before you publish to avoid misinformation and fake news. Since I came into office, Ogbe-Ijoh and Diebiri youths have been harassing me. You are aware of the protest they staged against my appointment in 2019. They have continued to harass me since they", the statement adds.

In another development, when contacted the Youth President of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom through phone call, James Etimadimene noted that he never went there to kill the honourable Commissioner. Rather he went to the honourable Commissioner's office in DESOPADEC in other to fill youth empowerment forms that is due to them. But unfortunately, him and his PRO where denied of the forms which led to  misunderstanding. 

"I am currently in the hospital receiving medical attention as result to the bruises l received from the Commissioner's aides. We where taken to Ekpan police station. It was the intervention of Hon. Arex Akemotubo among others to secure our released. Ask the Commissioner to give us our youth empowerment forms. It is our right to benefit from the agency, Etimadimene stated."

My attention has been drawn to the recent planned Molestation and

humiliation of the Youth President of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom, Comrade James Etimadimene and his P.R.O, Godspwer Williki by the Commissioner of Desopadec representing the Ijaw ethnic nationalities, Mr Paul Bebenimibo while they where sent for an official duty to his office.

It is disheartening to hear that,

Commissioner Desopadec representing ijaw ethnic nationalities Mr Paul Bebenimibo gang-up with his brothers and his police men to brutalize a kingdom youths president, molest and humiliated him.

As a youth leader, I totally conderm the barbaric act of Hon.commissiner of desodeac, Mr Paul Bebenimibo, his brothers and the police men, political slaves and paid defenders who carried out this deviant and barbaric act, humiliation and melestation of our youth President to render public apology to the indigenes of Ogbe-ijoh Warri Kingdom, mostly the youths in a National Newspapers or else, ready to hear from our lawyers.

His Excellency, Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Okowa should appoint tants to occupy that sensitive position and to the former IYC president Mr. Udens Eradiri who is highly unstable would say that Mr Paul BEBENIMIBO is a founding father of IYC is quite unfortunate.

Mr Eradiri Udengs should stay clear from issues with irresponsible character. If he wants to be a mouth piece of Paul BEBENIMIBO, he should come out so that we can discuss you (Udengs).

Mr Paul is a disgrace and demeaning to Ijaw nation for this single act. You should know Ijaw nation is bigger than you and that you are not fit to hold public office.

Governor Okowa, your staff are demeaning your administration like what the former IYC President Udengs Eradiri, said Mr Paul is izaguda but we all know his antics.

I called on the Inspector General of police (IGP), Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG Zone 5) and the Commissioner of Police Delta State to as a matter of urgency arrest and persecute the Police men attached to Mr Paul BEBENIMIBO.
