Delta 2023: Why We Endorse Omo-Agege for Governor_ Gen. Vwaghie

Warri _____ The President of ex-agitators Delta State chapter, Gen. Abraham Vwaghie, popularly known as (Father 1), has given reasons why Delta Urhobo ethnic nationality ex-agitators endorsed the APC Governorship Candidate for 2023 Delta State Gubernatorial elections, His Excellency, distinguished Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhobo land.

In a statement released on Saturday morning and made available to newsmen in Warri, where he described Sen. Omo-Agege glowing terms, saying his effective representation is glaring for everybody to see in his primary constituency Delta Central in particular, and Delta State at large.
The Ummadja, Udu Local Government-born cleric noted that never in the history of the political representation in the state or Senatorial level has an ‘Omo-Agege’ been seen or felt in the state particularly in his developmental drives which he said has endeared him to all, across social divides.

Specifically, the former warlord cited reasons that gives DSP Omo-Agege wide margin above his contemporaries in the race to the Asaba Government House to include: his dexterity and thirst for massive infrastructure development of not only his constituency but the entire state.
Highlighting some of the unprecedented achievements of Senator Ovie Omo-Agege two term in office to his primary constituency Delta Central and the Nation Nigeria at large include;

1. Sponsored of the bill for the Establishment of Federal University of Petroleum Resources (Bill 2016) to be well funded by the federal government.

2. Sponsored of the bill for the Establishment of Federal Polytechnic Orogun -( Bill 2018) Projects currently ongoing.

3. Renovation of Primary Schools across the 8 LGA in Delta Central

4. Provision of Transformers and solar powered street lights across Communities in the 8 LGA Of Delta Central Senatorial District. 

5. Sponsored of the Sexual Harassment Bill in Tertiary Education  lnstitutions across the country (,Bill 2016,).

6. Construction of Shoreline protection and pilling of Egbo-ldeh community water front in order to save the community from erosion in Ughelli South LGA, a riverine Urhobo community sharing boundary with Ayakoromo in Burutu.

The preacher cum evangelist, said Senator Omo-Agege has made federal recognition possible for Deltans. He reiterated that Omo-Agege has long passed the test of quality representation never seen in the state, describing his light up Delta project as a second to none, adding that the rural communities where light never got to since civilisation now enjoy electricity courtesy of the man he described as the pride of delta electorates.

Describing Senator Omo-Agege as the pride of the 9th National Assembly and best to happen to the good people of Delta state, Vwaghie called on the electorates to rally support for the man who he noted, initiated the Federal Polytechnic, Orogun, Ughelli North LGA; the University of Agriculture and Technology, Aboh in Ndokwa East. The man who he said is executing a multi million naira multiple projects for his Alma mater in Obinomba, Ukwani Local Government area, and other life changing projects initiated by the Orogun-born politician that is too numerous to mention.

He therefore, appeal and called on the electorates and All Deltans to support and vote for Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhobo land in order to build a prosperous Delta State for all come 2023 general elections, the statement added.
