Gen. Abraham Congratulates Omo-Agege, hails Buhari for National Award/Honour

Warri _____ The most foremost Delta Urhobo born ex-agitator has congratulated and rejoice with the Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, who also doubles as the APC Candidate for the 2023 Delta State Gubernatorial elections, His Excellency, distinguished Senator (Barr.) Ovie Omo-Agege, the Obarisi of Urhobo Land over the conferment of the National Award/Honour as Commander of the Order of Federal Republic of Nigeria, CFR, by President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday 11th October, 2022 at the lnternational Conference Center, Abuja.

In a statement signed by himself and made available to newsmen in Warri, Gen. Abraham Vwaghie aka Fada 1 noted that the National Award/Honour on their national leader is well-deserved and a great honour for the people of Delta Central Senatorial District in particular, Delta State and Nigeria at large.

The ex-agitator stated that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has written his name in Gold on the National scene as a senator amongst senators, having demonstrated core attributes of a modern democrat in his national assignment, stressing that a faithful labourer deserves his wages and due commendations.

Emphasizing on his peculiar antecedents, the Ex- Niger Delta war lord who is also the President/Convener of Delta Agitators For Ovie Omo-Agege said Senator Omo-Agege is a grassroot political crusader who is very much prepared to save the soul of Delta State from life support, frustration and hardship. Saying his innovative attributes in providing good governance for the people Delta State and Nigeria at large cannot be overemphasized.

The statement further added that his coming into the Delta State Gubernatorial race has brought vigour, hope and lots of excitement to the people, saying Deltans are expectant of a new dawn of life and improved derivatives from the government under his watch comes after 2023 election victory.

However, the Ex-agitator also use this medium to appreciate President Muhammadu Buhari in finding their leader worthy for the great rare National Award/Honour bestowed on Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, praying God to protect him to finish strong as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria come 2023, the statement added.
