Warri-------- Reformed Niger-Delta militants popularly known as Ex-Agitators has threatened the Federal Government of Nigeria,President Muhammadu Buhari and Multinational Oil Companies to resume attack on oil pipelines in the creeks over what it termed delay in traiining and inhuman treatment meted against them in the Presidential Amnesty Office,Abuja.

The aggrieved angry looking ex-agitators numbering over 180 from Rivers,Bayelsa,Akwa-Ibo, Calabar,Edo,Ondo and Delta State converged in Warri yesterday in a protest and issued four days ultimatum to the Coordinator Presidential Amnesty Programme, Prof.Charles Dokubo to immediately call back the Amnesty delegates for training at Izonebi Training Center Lagos or else, expect renewed hostility in the creeks of Niger-Delta.

It would recalled that, over 185 ex-agitators from different states in the Niger-Delta who are aggrieved delegates entitled for six months training on skill acquisition earlier informed late last month by the Coordinator incharge for training, Mrs.Inetimi Bonozigha Evah to prepare ahead on monday 15th July,2019 for training in Lagos was suddenly asked to stay back yesterday without any cogent reason from the Amnesty Office.

Addressing the Press, one of the protesting delegates,Bololo Pude from Bayelsa State said," since the Amnesty  programme started in 2009 to date,I have not been called for training/empowerment.They keep promising and finally informed us through phone call last month to prepare ourselves for training on the 15th of July 2019,at Izonebi Training Center, Lagos. But to our greatest surprise yesterday,Mrs. Inetimi Evah call again and ask us to stay back without telling us any  reason. We are urging the federal government, President Buhari to tell Charles Dokubo to call us back before the earlier scheduled date for the training or else, there shall be no peace in Nigeria,Bololo stated."

In his reaction, another delegat known as Ande Ogbemudia," charges the leadership of National Assembly,Senate President Ahmed Lawan and the Speaker House of Reps,Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila to as a matter of urgency invite Prof.Dokubo to tell us why we should not go for training? Dokubo should know that, peace in the Niger-Delta is peace in Nigeria. He should not take our patience for granted or else, there shall be disaster in Nigeria,Ogbemudia asserted."

Also expressing her dismay and anger is a female ex-agitator and delegate known as Biukeme Emomotimi said," If the federal government is not happy as the nation's economy is booming,we shall crippled it within a second.President Muhammadu Buhari should call Dokubo to order for peace to reign in Nigeria. If not,it will be disastrous when we strike oil pipelines in the creeks of Niger Delta, Biukeme stated."

However, the ex-agitators vows to resume hostility in the creeks of Niger Delta if Prof.Charles Dokubo fails to do the needful to call back all the Amnesty delegates due for training at Izonebi Training Center Lagos, before the expiration of the four days ultimatum, the statement adds.
