New Year: Capt. Para Splashes Wrappers, Cash to Elderly Women in Burutu

Francis Tayor

Warri ______ ln the spirit of yuletide and giving back to the society of what God has blessed him over the years, a renowned Niger Delta great philanthropist cum sailor, Captain Alfred Ebikeseye Para, fondly called Big Fredo, has distributed wrappers and cash gifts worth millions of naira to the elderly women, men and widows in Toru-Tebegbe Community of Tuomo-lbe (TT Clan) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Captain Para presented the items on Wednesday 10th January, 2024 as he visited home to celebrate the New Year with them, saying it is part of his lifestyle in putting smile on the faces of the needy and render humanitarian services to the society.
He noted that our Lord Jesus Christ preaches love your neighbour as you love yourself, hence the world would be a better place to dwell in for both the young and the old if we can show little love to one another.

Big Fredo stated that as far as God provides and keep him and family alive in good health, he will continue to render charity services to the elderly men, women, widows and the needy in the society, adding that it gives him joy whenever he put smile on others.

In their reactions, the beneficiaries was overwhelmed and excited with the gift items given to them by captain Para, praying God to replenish his pocket with more money, wealth and good health with longlife and prosperity.
However, read below full details of the statement:

CAPTAIN ALFRED EBIKESEYE PARA SHOWS LOVE TO TEBEGBE COMMUNITY.

The Scriptures in all the known religions of the world admonish the sons and daughters of earth to be liberal to one another. It's one of the proofs of true love -- what the Greeks call Agape. Where and whenever this divine love is communicated by action, the rest of us are bound by heaven and earth to show gratitude to such benefactors. This is what is happening now in Tebegbe community in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.

The philanthropist and communal patriot, Captain Alfred Ebikeseye Para, today gave out cash gifts and clothes to old men, women and widows in Tebegbe  community, knowing fully well that they need such assistance to be able to keep their flames for life burning. In a world where people are daily working for selfish ends, Captain Para decided to live for others. In a world where people exploit their communities to enrich themselves, here is a man, who out of love and compassion for the poverty-stricken, is giving out his hard-earned money to put smile on the faces of his people.

Our society will hardly experience the transformation and development we seek for until we learn to put the cap of leadership on the heads of men like Captain Para. The day we discover that men like Captain Para are the best captains to pilot the ships of our community, and fulfill that discovery by encouraging, supporting, endorsing and electing them to occupy positions of influence, power, and authority, is the day things will begin to turn around for our good.

We beg all other leaders of the Niger Delta, especially Ijaw Nation, to emulate the benevolent lifestyle of Captain ALFRED EBIKESEYE PARA, in reaching out to the needy, in helping the helpless, in giving hope to the hopeless and in comforting the comfortless. And our society will be better for it.
