Sylvester Congratulates Oborevwori on Supreme Court Victory

Warri ____  A Chieftain of the People's Democratic Party and Secretary General PDP Ward 1 Ogbe-ljoh, headquarters Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief. Sylvester Tiebebedigha (JP), the Doumien-Owei (Peace Maker) of Ogbe-ljoh Warri Kingdom,  has congratulated His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on  Supreme Court revalidation of the election as the duly elected Governor of Delta State.

Speaking to newsmen in Warri on Saturday, Chief Sylvester noted that the unanimous verdict of the Supreme Court judges describing Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege, Gbagi and Pela suits as lacking in merit, wasting of the courts time and a mere academic exercise further reenforced the grassroots acceptance of the M.O.R.E Governor by majority of voters in Delta State.

According to Tiebebedigha said:

“The Judiciary has again proved itself strong in the protection of democracy and the rule of law in Nigeria. I have never entertained any iota of doubt about the Supreme Court verdict because it was clear that Deltans voted overwhelmingly to elect the Governor”.

He further stated that Governor Oborevwori is a man of the people and a peace-loving statesman, adding that the decision of the supreme court will definitely go a long way to solidify the faith of the masses in the courts.

" l therefore felicitate with the Governor, the PDP family and Deltans at home and in diaspora.”.
Chief Sylvester however urged Omo Agege, Gbagi and Pela to join hands with the Governor to move the State forward, stressing that His Excellency Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori will transform Delta State in terms of infrastructural development.

He therefore urged all Deltans to support his administration because MORE better days are here especially now that the court cases are over.
