Burutu_____ A group under the auspices of Concerned Citizens For Izon-Ebe Development (CCFID), has raised alarm over governor Okowa's deliberate neglect of Ward 7 Ayakoromo in terms of infrastructural development, as well as political appointment into office, describing the action of the governor as unfair, biased and paying evil for good against the people of Ayakoromo after they have massively voted for his reelection in the 2019 governorship election.

The group leader, Comr Oyinbi Onduku stated this during the weekend at Ayakoromo, stressed that governor Okowa should consider the likes of Hon.Godwin Edumogiren, Hon.Paul Kurugbe, Hon.Kofi Amasuomo and others from Ward 7 Ayakoromo for appointment, saying the names mentioned above and other PDP stakeholders worked for him, and they where very instrumental in Burutu Local Government Area for his reelection.

Speaking further, the group also lamented over the epileptic movement of Ayakoromo bridge project, as well as the ravaging flood waters that have submerzed the whole community which have brought untold hardship and affected the community educationally, economically as students could no longer go to school and no place for market women to trade.

According to the group leader Onduku, "said l am appealing to governor Okowa to balance his appointments by giving Ayakoromo sons juicy appointment as well, because they worked and voted for him. Let there be some level of fairness and equitable distribution of appointment, as well as infrastructural development across the various wards in the state.

I want to categorically states that, the present governor Okowa's appointments is lopsided and that it doesn't speak good for the governor. We urged governor Okowa to balance his appointment by looking into this matter critically. Since Ayakoromo ward 7 delivered block votes for him, the governor should complement their efforts by giving them appointment and not paying them back evil for good, the statement adds."

However, the group also use this medium to call on the Delta State government, NEMA and the honorable members representing Burutu Federal and State Constituencies to come to the aid of our flood victims trapped down in the rural areas.
