Just-ln: King Pereama Freetown Congratulates Tompolo On High Court Victory, Urges President Buhari To Release His Confiscated Assets

Warri____The Numupere ll of lzon-ebe High Life Owigiri music, King Pereama Freetown (JP) has congratulated High Chief. Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo on his recent victory at the Federal High Court, Lagos over the discharge of fraud allegation case levelled against him and others by the Nigerian government since 2016.

King Pereama officially congratulated Tompolo on Sunday 26th July, 2020 during a courtesy visit at Oporoza, the headquarters of Gbaramatu kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, stressed that Tompolo's victory at the Federal High Court Lagos is a victory against the enemies of Ijaw Nation and a sign of good things to come.

The doyen of music also appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to release all confiscated assets belonging to GOC pursuant to the false allegations. He extolled Tompolo as a man of peace who has strived to develop every part of Ijaw Nation and Niger Delta in general.

The Great Grand Master as he is fondly called also used the opportunity to condole with Chief Ebipade Kari a.k.a CSO on the occasion of the sudden death of his dear wife, thereby urged him to take solace in the word of God, saying our departed wife is sleeping in the Lord, King Pereama asserted.

In his reaction, High Chief. Government Ekpemupolo couldn't hide his joy in the visit as he appreciated King Pereama Freetown Jp for finding time despite his tight schedules to celebrate with him. He congratulated the Numupere ll of Ijaw music industry on his ascension to the throne and advised him to mend every fences with aggrieved persons to bring total unity in the industry.

Tompolo gave his unalloyed support to King Pereama Freetown Jp and promised to visit him at his convenient time, having being physically absent during the coronation though he was there in spirit according to him.

However, Tompolo expressed his displeasure in the division amongst Ijaw institutions, sighting the cases of the INC and IYC. He therefore, charged King Pereama Freetown to absorb every aggrieved ljaw musicians in the industry, Tompolo stated.

Meanwhile, among the king entourage visited Tompolo includes; HRH Victory Ebipamne a.k a Alhaji gala Alhaji, Fereborn Fereselegha, Governor Akpoebi, Hon Pena Omuku and others.
