The Chairman of the reverend Elite People's Forum of Operemor Kingdom (EPF) in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Chief John Amatari, has appreciated the Chief Bare Etolor led committee and members on their steadfastness by ensuring due process in conducting a thorough selection to usher a new King in Operemor Kingdom.

Chief Amatari made the commendation on Tuesday 19th April, 2022, in Warri, through a Press Statement, urged Chief. Bare Etolor led Committee to as a matter of urgency carryout the Kingship selection process in the kingdom as far as there is no subsisting order of court restraining him and the committee members from performing their assignment, adding that Operemor kingdom is badly in need of new king in other to stand tall among other traditional institutions across Delta State, Niger Delta region, Nigeria and beyond.

According to Amatari, said: "It is a thing of joy having a dogged and uncompromised committee, chaired by High Chief Bare Etolor to ensure a peaceful and harmonious transition selection process to usher new King in Operemor Kingdom.

As a neutral group of the kingdom, I implored the Bare Etolor led screening/selection committee to quickly usher the kingdom with a credible, popular and sincere candidate to occupy the royal throne.

It's unfortunate that, the committee has find it difficult to conduct the selection process in order to usher in a new King in our Kingdom".

Recalled that the last sitting in Bomadi High court on the 23rd March, 2022 ruled out the relief sought by the claimants, Mr. Hausa Walter and three(3) others against that of Chief Gabriel Tuduo Evin( Regent) and another three(3) on behalf of the Operemor Traditional Council of Chiefs and the Chief Bare's led Committee, prayed for injunctive restrain order not to go ahead in the discharge of their duty., The presiding chief judge carefully made us to understand in his ruling delivered that, the Chief Etolor led Operemor Kingship screening/selection committee and Selection process encompasses cannot be tempered with, rather to continue the process to usher in their next King.

" This, to us as a people clearly pave the way, expecting the  committee to quickly conduct the selection process to enthrone whosoever that emerged to ascend the royal throne.

Elite People's Forum via the National Chairman, Chief John Amatari, therefore urged the Operemor  Screening/Selection committee led by High Chief Bare Etolor to please without looking anyone thoughts go ahead and carryout the kingship Selection process in the kingdom as long as there is no subsisting order of court restraining the committee, because the kingdom is seriously looking forward to see their next King among the traditional institution in Delta State, Izon Nation, Nigeria and beyond", the statement adds.
