Yenagoa___ The families of Keredei Thomas Akpaghoro of Ebiribodo quarters of Amatu 1 Community of the great lduwini kingdom and lkunine lmbe of Lalaghene-Biobiri quarters of Ezetu Community of Bassan Kingdom, both in Ekeremor and Southern ljaw Local Government Areas of Bayelsa State respectively, has announced the death and date for the final burial rites of their most beloved illustrious son and elderstatesman, Late Pa. Emmanuel Keredei Akpaghoro, (aka E.K), who slept in the Lord on the 9th August, 2018, after a brief illness.

In a statement released on Wednesday 20th April, 2022, at Amatu 1 Community and jointly signed by HRH. Dr. Decca E. Keredei for the children and Capt. Joseph Clark Kurobokekeme for the family, noted that the three days final burial rites of the elderstatesman of the Keredei's dynasty will commence this weekend Friday 22nd April, to Sunday 24th April, 2022, at Amatu 1 Community, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State.

According to the burial arrangements, said Friday 22nd April, 2022, corpse leave Ame Hospital Mortuary Warri, for his home Town Amatu 1 Community by 9.00AM through Miller Waterside, NPA Warri Delta State.

12:30PM:

Corpse arrives his compound at No, 1 Akpaghoro Lane, Amatu 1.
Funeral service and internment to be conducted by Jehovah's Witnesses.

Refreshment for guests follows immediately at the same venue.

Thereafter, Social wake keeping will start by 7:pm in the night till dawn. Music to be supplied by Ebis Benson and his Progressive Band of Africa. 

Saturday 23rd April, 2022:

Display of All Stars Band from Ekeremor Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, amongst other cultural dance troupe.

Sunday 24th April, 2022:

Outing Service/Thanksgiving At Jehovah's witness Commission, Amatu 1 Community, Ekeremor LGA, Bayelsa State.

Meanwhile, it will interest you to note that late Pa. Keredei Akpaghoro was a successful contractor and business man. He was a community leader, bridge builder, Peace Maker, Advisor and elderstatesman who had positively impacted many lives in Amatu 1 Communities of the great lduwini kingdom. 

He died at the ripeful age of 86 years. He was survived by 1 wife, 8 Children, 49 Grand Children, 3 Great Grand Children, son in-laws, daughter in-laws and many relatives too numerous to mention. 

However, His Royal Highness, Dr. Decca Keredei, the Amananaowei of Amatu 1 Communities, (NIEKENIE DE 25TH), the Mayor of Iduwini Kingdom, had use this medium to specially invite his fellow Royal Highnesses across the Niger Delta region, Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta, Edo, Ondo as well as friends and well wishers to join him on Friday this weekend in order to give his beloved father a very befitting final burial rites, the statement added.
