Gov. Okowa's Aide On Sucurity, Ezekiel Visits 1st Sector Command Effurun, Calls For Military Community Mutual Relationship

Warri____ The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the governor of Delta State on Security, Comrade Ezekiel Daniel in the early hours of today visited the Sector 1
Commander Operation Delta Safe, 3Batallion Effurun Barracks, Mr. MHB. Manu to synergize for a peaceful society across the State.

Speaking at the meeting that lasted for an hour, the governor's aide commended the Nigerian army for their wonderful peace keeping work across Delta, charging the military to sustain the tempo. Comrade Ezekiel stressed that the military should establish a mutual understanding within the communities they operate by providing free medical services to the people. He said by doing that, there would be a mutual relationship between the military and the people, thereby enhancing the military  access to adequate information in order to enable them combat crime effectively within the vicinity, he stated.

In his reaction, the Sector 1 Commander Operation Delta Safe Effurun Barracks, Mr. MHB. Manu, appreciated SSA for the wonderful idea as well as the timely visit, noting that the military will work on it.

He further stated that the military has been carrying out such social corporate responsibility of free medical services for communities they operate over the years. " We have done it in Effurun, Ogbe-Ijoh and Aladja. We are still planning to embark on other community's. I want us to work out modalities so that we can extend the free medical services to Opuama community in Egbema in the shortest possible time, Mr. Manu asserted."
