Warri_____ The oil city of Warri Delta State is about to witness the first ever live TV reality show tagged 'Skills To Stardom' by September 2020. The programme is specifically design by WaffiTV for those with skills and talent, thereby providing the platform for them to exhibit such talents and equipping them with the needed entrepreneurial skills and funds that will enable them survive in this contemporary Nigeria harsh economy.

This was revealed yesterday in Warri by the MD. WaffiTV, Pst. Arex Akemotubo, during a Press briefing to officially unveiled the initiative to the public. He said the two month long reality TV show star prize season one winners will go home with the wallowing sum of twenty million naira ( #20, 000, 000, 00) each.

Pst. Akemotubo further stressed that interested persons can obtain the form at the rate of #5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only ( Non-Refundable Fee) payable on the WaffiTV App and fill the form online. He noted that sales of form begins tomorrow Friday 21st of February, 2020 and ends last week of March. While auditioning  commences 1st week of April, 2020 and will be done regionally covering at least 11 states across Nigeria.

In giving breakdown of the initiative, Pst. Akemotubo said; " THE SKILL TO STARDOM 2020 initiative is a reality TV show designed to empower Nigerians nationwide and subsequent editions of this laudable reality TV show will cover the entire African continent.

WAFFITV is set to make sure industrialization remains a valid system in Nigeria. We are focused on bringing out real skills and innovations from Nigerians. This contest is opened to all Nigerians that have acquired a skill either formally or informally and all applicant must have attained the age of 18 as at September, 2020.
This reality TV show beacons on how 60 skilled Nigerians from the following skilled set will slug it out in THE SKILL TO STARDOM HOUSE for 60 days.

1. FASHION DESIGN
2. GRAPHIC DESIGN
3. SINGING
4. HAIR STYLING
5. DANCING
6. SHOE MAKING
7. OTHER INNOVATIVE SKILLS , EITHER MENTIONED OR NOT.

All the above listed skills and any other innovative skill that the judges will approve during the auditioning process. WAFFITV has a nationwide coverage and this program will aired on WAFFI TV and other national television stations as well as Social media platforms for 60 days.

HOW TO APPLY

Interested persons should obtain the form at the rate of N 5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only (Non- Refundable) payable on the WAFFITV App and fill the form online. Sales of form begins Friday 21st of FEBRUARY 2020 and ends last week of March.

AUDITIONING

Audition commences 1st
week of April, 2020 and will be done regionally covering at least 11 states.

Auditioning will also be broadcasted live on WAFFITV and other national stations. Those that couldn’t get past the auditioning stage will not be left aside as we’ve made arrangements for entrepreneurial training during which resource materials will be given to them for free.

THE SKILL TO STARDOM REALITY TV SHOW 2020 will commence by September 2020 and the successful 60 applicants drawn from all over Nigeria will assemble at THE SKILL TO STARDOM house where strict rules will be put in place to ensure the proper behavior of each contestant and make sure they don’t get involved in any immoral act. Any of the house mate that violates the rules guiding the house stands the risk of instant eviction.

EVICTION

This project is not all about winning but leaving an indelible impact on the society and Nigeria at large. Based on this, the leadership and managerial skills of the housemates will be put to the test. Eviction will commence from the third week and it will be strictly based on viewer’s voting and the way to vote will be shown to the viewers during the broadcast of the show.

2020 initiative is not leaving anyone behind and that is why each evicted housemate will not go home empty handed. The longer you’re able to remain in the house the bigger the package you will go home with. For the first week of eviction, evicted housemates are going home with a starter pack worth the amount as given below.

1st WEEK OF EVICTION N 500,000.00
2ND WEEK OF EVICTION N 1,000,000.00
3RD WEEK N 1,500,000.00
4TH WEEK N 2,000,000.00
5TH WEEK N 2,500,000.00
6TH WEEK N 3,000,000.00.

And the STAR PRIZE for this SKILL TO STARDOM REALITY TV SHOW SEASON ONE winners goes home with the sum of N20,000,000.00 (Twenty Million Naira) each.
