Yenagoa_____ Former Niger Delta freedom fighters popularly known as ex-agitators of Niger Delta has warned the acting Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Rtd Col. Milland Dikkio as well as his Personal Assistant (PA), Mr. Alfred Kemepade not to deprived them of their rights to access quality education and other benefits due to them in the programme, noting that the amnesty office was created to serve the interest of the ex-agitators and not to witch hunt them.

The ex-agitators under the aegis of the Refined Niger Delta Militants (RNDM) led by Gen. Otobo Alabeni issued the statement on Monday 5th in Yenagoa, stated that they are not happy with Dikkio and his PA Kemepade on their plot to short change them in the programme by asking them to write JAMB before going to school.

They maintained that the interim chairman Dikkio and his PA Kemepade should follow the layed down process by deploying them to the approved universities across the country to study, stressing that anything outside that would attract anarchy and restiveness in the country, especially the Niger Delta oil rich region.

The ex-agitators further draw the attention of the interim management board to note that their engagement was to serve the interest of the ex-agitators of the Niger Delta region and not to imposed on them antagonistic conditions that will jeopardize the peace of the country.

According to Gen. Alabeni, " said if the interim management want impacted community beneficiaries to write JAMB before going to school, that is their own but we the ex-agitators will not be part of the JAMB arrangement because that was not part of the agreement we signed with federal government in 2009 before we accept amnesty. We where told that those of us want to go to school would be given direct admission and that is what had been ongoing since 2010 till date. But when Dikkio come onboard, him and his allies are bringing JAMB condition to thwart the whole process the past Coordinators had built over the years."

In addition, " We also warned Kemepade and Dikkio to immediately forward the bush names of the ex-agitators as well as those who have changed to their real names to the designated higher institutions for study because most of us were afraid to use our real names in the initial stage of accepting amnesty due to misinformation. Planning to send only real names to school to the detriment of those using their bush names would be tartanmount to anarchy in the country, Gen. Alabeni noted."

However, the ex-agitators used this medium appealed to High Chief.  Government Ekpemupolo aka Tompolo, HRM. King Ateke Tom, Dr. Ebikabowei Victor Ben aka Boyloaf, High Chief Bibopere Ajube aka Shoot at Sight, Gen. Young Shall Grow, Pastor Reuben, Gen. Joshua Maichaver, IYC President Timothy Igbifa, Pa. E.K Clark and the South-South Governors to  immediately intervene on this matter to call Rtd Col. Milland Dikkio and his PA Alfred Kemepade to order, if not they will have no other option than to invoke the spirit of Egbesu as well as their fallen hero's in the course of the Niger Delta Liberation struggle to go after them, the statement adds.
