INC: Barr. Tons Fetepigi assures ljaw Nation of adequate rights protection when elected


As the 2021 ljaw National Congress INC, elections draw closer, the outstanding National Legal Adviser aspirant, Barr. Bomo Tons Fetepigi has reaffirmed her commitment to always protect the fundamental human rights of ljaw people scattered across six states in the country, noting that ljaw Nation will regain her position as the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria.


She lamented that ljaw people have been down trodden over the years, and it must be liberated from this shackle when given the opportunity to serve.


She made the statement on Sunday 18th April, 2021 in Lagos, during a meeting with lNC Lagos Chapter delegates, stressed that she had served ljaw Nation in various capacities. " l  have worked for ljaw Nation as National Legal Adviser to ljaw Women Connect (IWC), where l made an impact to make sure ljaw women take their rightful place in our society. I am coming to legally confront Nigerian government, IOCs and other agencies to bring what is rightfully belongs to ljaw people in the country."


Barr. Bomo said she was ready to serve as the National Legal Adviser to INC. She wants to be proactive as National Legal Adviser, if given the opportunity, she would move ljaw nation forward. 


" l am  ready to work with the President to be, and his executive members to move Ijaw nation to an enviable height.


If you vote me to be among the incoming executive, l would bring my wealth of experience as legal practinoner over the years to bear, the statement adds."
