Just-ln: Owotorufa meets with lNC Central zone delegates, solicits for votes ahead election

The foremost Presidential aspirant in the forthcoming ljaw National Congress (INC) election, Alaowei Fredrick Endorokeme Owotorufa and his campaign team in the early hours on Sunday met with INC Central zone delegates ahead of the election fast approaching.

Speaking during the meeting, Owotorufa reassured ljaw nation of his burning desire to reposition lNC to the ideals and dreams of the founding father's, noting that he is very much ready and passionate to serve the interest of ljaw people.

The soft vibrant outspoken Oboro, Endoro and Agbere born  Owotorufa, said his vision is to inspire the power of unity, love and hope for ljaw nation to accelerate the social-cultural development through strategic thinking and action.

He stressed that he decided to join the race because he is convinced that ljaw nation is in urgent need of a honest, accountable and visionary torchbearer, a man that can compete with leaders of other ethnic nationalities in integrity and wit in the state of affairs of the country (Nigeria).

According to him, said: " lt is not part of my ambition to use lNC as a platform to propagate selfish agendas. I come with clean hands and will fight for equity, fairness and justice for ljaw nation."

Ijaw nation is wobbling and there is urgent need to reposition lNC to the right direction. For ljaw nation to make drastic progress and attain her desired recognition in Nigeria,

 "We must first of all as a people be united. If we speak in one voice in unity, ljaw nation will surpass her numerous challenges one after the other. We cannot run lNC under the template of lYC. I am coming to change the narrative by intellectually engaging the government, IOCs and other foreign agencies to bring the needed development to ljaw land."

Owotorufa reiterated that because of our crude oil, the lbos and Yorubas want to annex us forcefully to be part of them. "Ijaw nation is not Biafra neither Oduduwa, but we are Niger Deltans and can go to our separate ways (Niger Delta Republic), if the need arises. But l tell you, as far as Nigeria is concerned, INC under my leadership will vehemently resist any attempt by the Biafrans and the Oduduwa's to annex any part of ljaw territories. Entrust me and my team with your votes comes 30th April, 2021, ljaw nation would be great again, the statement adds."
